Steps Ministries has partnered with the Buffalo Dream Center to provide much needed groceries to needy families in the area. We call this once a month free food pantry the Freely Give Food Pantry.

“Volunteers pack the food in bags and load it into a truck six times each month. The Joseph Project feeds families in low-income neighborhoods of the inner city. Approximately ten thousand meals are distributed each month.“

Who can access this?

The food pantry provides food to those who feel they need it, regardless of income. We primarily serve families in the Steps focus areas, but others can apply.
A key component of true poverty alleviation is to meet the needs of those who genuinely need the resources and won’t abuse it. At Steps we are working hands on with people in the community, not just handing out food to strangers.
Participants pick-up their food bag(s) 1x per month at Steps on a set day (currently the 2nd Friday of every month) between the hours of 4pm and 6pm.
